It’s simple really, all you need are a few basic ingredients and your gummy mold of choice which can be found all over the internet in every shape and size you can imagine. You can take your journey wherever you want, but you can’t go wrong with the good ol’ classic bear shape.

Pulling Everything Together

You won’t need a whole lot of time or supplies to create some exceptionally uplifting weed gummies. All you need to begin are the following items:

• 1/2 cup cold water
• 6 oz. (Large) Jell-O packet
• 4 Envelopes of Gelatin
• 3-4 tbsp cannabis tincture (about 45 ml)
• Mold of your choice to hold and shape the gummies (preferably silicone)
• No-stick oil spray

First thing’s first. Go ahead and spray down your mold lightly with your non-stick spray and then wipe away any of the excess; you want just enough to keep the gummies from sticking when you’re ready to serve them up.

In a saucepan, combine your Jell-O flavoring and all 4 envelopes of gelatin and mix them thoroughly with a whisk, you’ll want to whisk slowly to avoid any excess bubbles. Once they are well mixed, add in 1/2 cup of cold water and continue to whisk.

Bring your saucepan to a boil while continuing to whisk the weed gummy mixture. Then switch the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, continuing to stir evenly. Once you remove your saucepan from the heat, set it aside and stir in your tincture as desired, making sure to mix it well. 3 tbsp will equal about 45ml to give you an idea of its strength. If you’re new to cannabis edibles, we recommend starting with less and gauging the effects of a smaller dose before using more. Always remember the golden rule of edibles: Start small and go slow!

Pour your mixture into your mold of choice, making sure it’s on a flat surface to keep everything even. Once the mold is full, pop it into the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow it to set.

Once that excruciatingly long 15 minutes is up, you can remove the weed gummies from the refrigerator and pop them out of the mold, because now, they are ready to be enjoyed! Just remember, edibles take a bit more time to work through your system, so it’s best to start small and only have a few at a time until you know how they affect you.
